Extensive Procedures

The right person for the job.

Sometimes our teeth require more extensive treatments. Dr. Wagner is trained and experienced to correct and restore your smile.

Our extensive procedures:

  • Root canals

This procedure is for when the nerve of the tooth or the pulp become infected or damaged. After the removal of the nerve and decayed pulp from the center of the tooth, the canal is reshaped and filled with a composite filling, and then a porcelain crown will be placed on the tooth.

  • Crowns

This is a permanent covering over a tooth that has decayed or cracked. The decayed or damaged part is removed and an impression is made of the surrounding teeth. A temporary crown is fit until the permanent crown is ready to apply.

  • Bridges

A bridge can prevent shifting of the teeth and jaw problems by filling a space that a previous tooth occupied. It consists of two crowns for the teeth on both sides of the gap with a prosthetic tooth or teeth inbetween. There are a few different types, and we will help determine which one is best for you.

  • Extraction

If a tooth has been severely damaged beyond repair, it may need to be removed. Dr. Wagner will help you feel as comfortable as possible throughout and after the procedure.
